In the words of Meatloaf, Lokes: "...you took the words right out of my mouth..."

I'll copy my goodbye post from BS later today.

Funny, 'cos I was hoping that last night we'd hear Papa Doc say, "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad".

There is only one thing that matters in Bermudian politics.

That's what one of the VSB commentators was saying last night.

Like I said on the other board, white Bermudians are going to have to accept the fact they are debarred, by reason of their skin colour, from having any significant role in Bermuda politics, and this is likely going to be true for a generation or more.

The worst thing is that Vanz was right. We just don't get it. There is only one thing that matters in Bermudian politics.

And that's the cruelest cut of all....

Michael Dunkley worked hard, really hard in #10.  It breaks my heart to see someone who worked so hard not be rewarded for his efforts.

No, don't be sad for him. Now he's free. He can move on to other things knowing that he did all he could, and that's all anyone could ask.

I am sad for Bermuda, though.

Noel

As much as I'm sad to see MD out of the house I wouldn't be sad for him. Michael was asked quite a while ago by them Opp. Leader Furbert if he would be willing to fight in another "not so safe" constituency. MD agreed, and thought it was a great idea, a chance to maybe pick up a seat. He could have changed back to a safe seat, but as Wayne said last night "Mike took to heart, that trying to pick up the seat was more important to the party than one person. Even the opposition leader"

The mans got balls, and ethics... shame the rest of the country doesn't!!!

And let's be honest, Michael Dunkley wasn't running against Patrice Minors, he was running against the memory of Dame Lois Browne Evans.

And a lot of other ghosts besides. Kind of hard to defeat ghosts.

Well Bermuda has spoken and sad as it is they are happy with corruption and thievery.  Loki, I am in complete agreement with you on this.  Now, if memory serves me correctly I remember hearing government a few months ago speaking of "Deeds" and that they will be making it compulsory for all deeds to be kept in the Gov't office.  Can anyone shed anymore light on this?

Before this happens, it's time to sell up and get out of dodge.
