The number of people who have joined the Boycott Rick's businesses group on Facebook is now up to 588 and with all the comments on Bernews article. This really points out the dangers of posting on social media when your ego overloads your brain and once you hit "send" there is no chance to pull your head out of your butt. Rick adding his comments in Bernews just adds more fuel. Whatever the final outcome this is going to cost Rick financially and emotionally.

I disagree that it's faux shock - at least from those without a vested political/race-baiting axe to grind.

As far as hunting down the source if it was posted 'anonymously', didn't we have that situation a while back with a cartoon shared on FB or something? IIRC, PLP supporters donned bras as part of support for women's health issues. Someone doctored the image and made it a meme suggesting the PLP supporters were mocking transgender individuals. Then the OBA decided to share the image. Which was followed by people from all sides accusing the other of being malicious.

And then there was a cartoon that the RG put out a while back where Cannonnier was in overalls and the politicians lost their minds, but that's another story. Those guys needed to get a grip, but it goes to show that the politician types are a different breed in the first place.

No, really, ... meh.
